Here are some things we get asked about most often!

Yes! We do take all kinds of kitchen appliances. Stoves, refrigerators (emptied of their food content and refrigerant), washers, dryers, microwaves, and so on. All are great scrappable items.

Yes! We see a great many mowers come through the yard. Whether push or riders, we take them! We just ask that they be emptied of any gasoline and oil before bringing them in.

Yes! Farm clean outs are a great source of scrap metal. Bring us your old tractors, pull behind plows, mowers, blades, or anything else that is good and rusty.

Yes! Window AC units are good for scrap. They can be broken down and its compnents scrapped seperately, but we do take the unit as a whole as scrap weight. We also take Condenser and Evaporator units. Don't forget to evacuate the refrigerant before bringing it in!

Yes! The hint is in the name: STEEL. Yes, we take steel rims, and we even take them with tires on them. We will just deduct some weight for the tire, but you will still get paid for your steel rims.

Yes! Chain-link fence is a great metal to scrap. However, we do have to consider this as UNPREPARED Steel, so the payout price will vary from our regular market scrap price.

Yes! We do take aluminum boats. Jon Boats and Pontoon boats are usually made entirely of aluminum. We will also scrap boat motors and trailers. However, we do not scrap fiberglass boats or jet skis.

Yes! Propane tanks are scrappable steel IF the valve has been removed from the tank and a secondary hole has been punctured in it as well. We have to make doubly certain that the tanks are not pressurized. So TWO holes!

Campers are not something we generally take. Though they sometimes have aluminum siding, and do have some steel weight on them (chassis, tow hitch, axels), they also have a TON of non-metal material. If the camper has aluminum siding (no fiberglass) and has been gutted out, we will entertain buying a camper.
